Ed Coburn May 7, 1949 - June 25, 2024

Eddie Ray "Ed" Coburn, 75, of Bleakwood died Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at his home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 30, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Watson Chapel Cemetery in Bleakwood.  Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Ed was born May 7, 1949 in Garrett, Kentucky to Bee Coburn and Amel (Cox) Coburn, and had lived in Bleakwood 22 years and was a retired operator for Enron.

Ed is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sheila Coburn of Bleakwood; children, Jason Coburn and wife Tara of Indiana; Ryan Coburn of Georgia; Kristi Lynch of Bleakwood; and Courtney Cummings and Jason of Bleakwood; a brother, Larry Coburn and Nadine; and 10 grandchildren, Devin Dempsey and Kaylee; Logan Lynch and Maddison; Dylan Simmons, Karli Simmons, Darrien (Flappy) Dempsey, Kasen Lynch, Ava Jones, Reese Coburn, Gavin Coburn, and Brie'anna Coburn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Mary and Joyce.
