GAME DAY!! The Newton Eagles open their 2023 season hosting the Woodville Eagles (0-1) at Singletary Stadium with a 7:00 pm kickoff. Woodville played #1 3A Big School ranked Franklin close last week but came up short. Tonight should have feathers flying as the two Eagle clubs face off. The Newton Eagles are ranked #7 in 3A Small School polls and look to get untracked on the season after last weeks game against Anahuac was canceled. At 9:00 am this morning the Newton Eagle Quarterback Club will meet at the Eagles Landing in the NISD Admin building. Join Coach Drew Johnston and Eagle fans as they hear what Woodville will offer against our Eagles. Everyone is welcome. Come out tonight wearing your Purple and be loud! Purple Pride Never Dies!!
