Dear Residents of Newton,

It is my honor to have served as a City Councilman for the last 2 years.

I am excited to announce my candidacy for reelection and am asking for your vote to continue representing our community. As a lifelong resident of Newton County and a citizen of the City of Newton I am committed to being a good steward of taxpayer funds, grants, and special funds of the city, working with management, other council persons and city workers for the betterment of our wonderful community.

There are several projects already being implemented at this time that will improve the infrastructure of our City. Please be patient as these projects come to fruition; they will be ongoing for some time but the final outcome will be well worth the effort to all of our citizens.

If elected I will continue advocating for the policies that benefit all residents of our City, promoting transparency and accountability. The concerns and needs of our community is always foremost in my endeavor to serve you. I am proud of the accomplishments that have been made and looking forward to the achievements yet to be.

I am not hard to locate if you have questions for me. Just private message me or catch me in and around town anytime.

Thank you for your support and trust.

Sincerely,

John Jefferson

City Councilman, Newton, Texas
