Newton County Commissioner’s Court extends Burn Ban

Newton County Commissioners Court met in Special Session to handle a number of agenda items.

It only took 9 minutes for the court to move on the 8 item agenda with all comissioners present except Commissioner Leonard Powell of Precinct 4.

The court voted to approve the pipeline crossing, the re-appointment of Thomas Hawthorne, listing of property in Old Salem and to extending the Burn Ban until November 14th.
