Newton County Sheriff Department attended TCOLE training on De-escalation Friday at Eagles Landing

The Newton County Sheriff's Office would like to thank DETCOG and Instructor J.B. Smith with

the Lufkin Police Department for providing mandated TCOLE training (De-Escalation) here in

Newton today. We also want to thank Newton ISD for allowing us to have the class at Eagle's

Landing. It was a great class, and we look forward to future collaborations for Continuing

Education for our Deputies and Dispatch/Jail crew.
