Newton VFD now has an auxiliary group. This group is composed of both men and women who want to help the fire department but are not interested in fighting fire. At this time, we have 5 members.
Auxillary members provide water, food etc during fire calls. Help or set up fund raising efforts. Assist with emergency hubs and more. They are a valuable part of our department and very much appreciated.
We introduced our new addition and they are now part of our family.
