Scott was an auto mechanic and a truck driver. He loved the Lord and his family very much, especially being known as "Paps" by his grandchildren, Kace and Korby. He had the gift of teaching and leading others by example. "Bought lessons are the best lessons" and "if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough" were words of wisdom he often shared. He had a gift of bringing humor to everyone around him and a unique ability to make sure all the broken things were fixed. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lee Doss and one brother, John Bryan Doss.
Survivors include Sonya Myers-Boswell of Lawrence; his sons, Jage Lee Doss (Ashley) of Lake; Will Boswell (Jaiden) of Newton and Riley Boswell of Lawrence; grandchildren, Kace Boswell and Korbyn Boswell; his mother, Betty Jo Breland Doss of Newton; brothers, Shannon Doss (Cathy) of Lawrence and Wayne Doss (Ali) of Bay Springs; sisters, Sharon Harris (Mike) of Lawrence and Cynthia James (Michael) of Louin; one special niece, Raigan Renfrow of Louin; and several nieces and nephews.
