And the sweat goes on as your Newton Eagles work towards the 2023 season. Tomorrow the Eagles have their second scrimmage of the year as they host the Kirbyville Wildcats at Singletary Stadium. The JV begins at 4:30 with Varsity following. It'll be hot but the Eagles will bring more heat to be sure and send the Wildcats home with their tails between their legs. Kirbyville is one of the oldest rivalries Newton has and even though it's only a scrimmage these Eagles put pride on the line. So be sure and prepare for the heat and stay hydrated.
