Sheriff nabs wanted Kirbyville man man at Singletary Sites in Newton County

Saturday night, June 14th of this year, Newton County Sheriff, Colton Havard was patrolling County Road 4055, also known as Singletary Sites. Havard said checking out recent citizen complaints about possible criminal activity were on his agenda for the night.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., Sheriff Havard noticed a white man walking down the road. Havard spoke to the man who was identified as 59-year-old Gary Gene Graham of Kirbyville. Havard said that Graham had a warrant for a Probation Violation for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B 1G<.
Graham was placed under arrest and charged with the PROBATION VIOLATION for POSS CS PG 1/1-B 1G<. Graham was transported to the Newton County Jail without incident.
As of Monday evening, Graham was still incarcerated with a bond of $25,000.
