Two vehicle accident injured two

A two vehicle accident that happened at approximately 1:10 this afternoon on Farm-to-Market 82, east of Kirbyville sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.


The Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department, and The Texas Department of Public Safety were called out to the accident.


DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said that when units arrived, they discovered that a 2011 Ford box truck had been traveling east, while a 2018 Ram 2500 was traveling west. It is reported that the Ford failed to yield right-of-way while turning left and struck the Ram.

 

The driver of the Ford, identified as 22-year-old Ernesto Garcia of Nacogdoches, was transported to Christus Southeast Texas for non-life-threatening injuries.

 

The driver of the Ram, identified as 58-year-old Wayne Graham of Call, was not injured. One passenger identified as 55-year-old Terri Graham also of Call, was transported to Christus Southeast Texas for non-life threatening injuries.
