Deweyville High School Seniors Get a Head Start with Free College Application Week

DEWEYVILLE, Texas — Deweyville High School is encouraging seniors to take the next big step toward their futures during Free College Application Week, October 13–19.

During this statewide initiative, students who apply to colleges through ApplyTexas will have their application fees completely waived, thanks to Senate Bill 2231 passed by the 89th Legislature.

“This is a perfect opportunity for our seniors to take that first step toward college without the financial burden,” the school shared.

Students are encouraged to plan ahead, explore their college options, and take advantage of the free application window before the deadline.
