Emergency Service District #2 to Consider 2025 Tax Rate

TROUT CREEK, Texas — Emergency Service District #2 will hold a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. on August 18, 2025, at the Trout Creek Volunteer Fire Department to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for the year 2025. The proposed tax rate is $0.060000 per $100 of value. There will be no increase in tax rate.

The agenda for this meeting is as follows:

• Call to order and establish quorum

• Citizen comments (no action may be taken on items not posted)

• Report by Trout Creek VFD service provider Jamie Bragg

• Treasurer’s report and consideration of bill payments

• Discussion and record vote on 2025 tax rate ($0.060000 per $100 of value); schedule public hearing

• Updates on ongoing EMS housing project at the old station

• Report on truck and building maintenance
